Avon Covington Masselin, 73 of Charlotte Court House, VA formally of Farmville, VA passed away in the comfort of her home in her husband’s care on Saturday, February 23, 2019. She is the daughter of the late Harold Covington and is survived by her mother Elizabeth Covington of Farmville, husband of 34 years Paul Masselin of Charlotte Court House, stepdaughter Faviene Roop (Brian) of Powhatan, sisters Nancy Phaup (LD) of Farmville and Connie Pullen (Jeff) of Lynchburg, brothers Bill Covington of Farmville and Bob Covington of Chester. Also, many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Farmville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery in Farmville. family will receive friends at the home following the service at 185 Thomas Jefferson Hwy, Charlotte Court House, VA.
