Bennie Donald Waller Sr.

Bennie Donald Waller, Sr. passed away on March 24 at age 78. He was born on September 10, 1938 in Halifax County, Virginia. His primary work was tobacco farming, but the entire community of Cody, Virginia leaned on him when something needed to be fixed. He was a jack of all trades and was happy to help anyone in need.

Mr. Waller is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 52 years, Carolyn Ann Waller, his son, Bennie(Louise) Waller, Jr, granddaughter Wellsley, sisters Helen Miller, Jean Waller, and Arlene (Rupert) Harris and brother Kenneth (Jane) Waller. As well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was proceeded in death by father and mother, Otis and Gracie Guthrie Waller as well as his sisters; Beatrice (Clarence) Jordan, Gerldine Waller, Gwendolyn Rogers, and brothers Curtis Waller and Winfrey (Cora Lee) Waller.

A memorial service will be held at Puckett Funeral home in Farmville, Virginia on Monday, March 27 at 2pm. The family will be receiving visitors at the home of Bennie and Louise Waller, 804 First Avenue Farmville, immediately following the ceremony.
