Betty Jo Wallwork

Betty Jo Wallwork died August 20, 2015. She was the loving wife of David Wallwork Sr. and the mother of three children; Ben Johnson and wife Susan, Dr Drew Johnson and wife Maggie of Farmville, Johanna Beasley and husband Tommy of Kill Devil Hills N.C. She also had two step children; Deborah Booze and husband Gene of Appomattox and David Wallwork Jr and friend Mark Cornelius of Walnut Creek, CA.
She is survived by eight grandchildren; Harrison Johnson and wife Marie Helen of Dillwyn, Clay Johnson, Carson Johnson, Lindsey Johnson, Zach Johnson all of Farmville, Chet Smith, Anna Beasley, Rachael Beasley of Kill Devil Hills, NC and one great grandson; Jack Johnson of Dillwyn.

Betty Jo enjoyed the country life working with flowers and in the vegetable garden. She earned her Virginia Federation of Garden Club pin in Halifax, VA. She enjoyed the Woman’s Club, Serendipity Club and was active in the Farmville Presbyterian Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Madaline’s House or Farmville Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held at Farmville Presbyterian Church on August 29, 2015 at 2:00PM with a reception to follow in the church fellowship hall.
