Dennis Lee Spillman

Dennis Lee Spillman, age 61, of Cumberland, VA passed away on Mon, November 24, 2014. He was born on March 10, 1953 to Charles W. and Alice Guinn Spillman in Newport News, VA. He was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He loved hunting, fishing and everything outdoors. He was a proud supporter of the NRA, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation and Hunters for the Hungry. He will be dearly missed by all of those lucky enough to ever be a part of his life. He is survived by his mother; Alice G. Spillman, his children; Melanie S. Rumsey of Cumberland, Mark Carrington Spillman (Melissa) of Cumberland, Justin Lee Spillman of Appomattox, and “step son' Peyton Edmondson of Rice, VA, grandchildren; Victoria, Olivia, Madison, Grace, Gabe and Chase, one great grandchild; Mackenzie, two brothers; Terry Spillman (Sandy) and Scotty Spillman of Cumberland, one sister; Susan Pembelton (Ray) of Amelia. Denny is preceded in death by his older brother; Billy and his father; Charles who he now joins in heaven. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:00PM in Cumberland Presbyterian Church with interment to follow in church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home.
