Doris Patterson Hardison

Mrs. Doris Patterson Hardison, 61 of Richmond passed away Friday morning in Richmond. She was born December 19, 1948 in Farmville, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late William and Gladys Horton Patterson. She was a long time employee of VASCO where she worked as an accounts receivable/payable clerk. Mrs. Hardison was a member of Hatcher Memorial Church.
She is survived by her son, Jason Taylor Hardison of Richmond, her sisters, Nancy Payne (Tommy), Connie Dandridge(Bubba) and Janet Patterson(Corky) all of Powhatan, her brothers, Billy Patterson, Jr. of North Carolina and George Patterson(Debra) of Cumberland and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 16, 2010 4:00PM at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville with interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice. Family will receive friends Saturday evening 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
