Dorothy May Fischer

Dorothy May Fischer passed quietly away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the age of 85. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Fred Fischer, her son, Ray Fischer and one great- great grandchild. She is survived by her son; Robert Fischer (wife Linda), her daughter, Dorothy “Dot” McMillian, her daughter, Lea Owens (husband Kevin), daughter in law, Brenda Fischer, thirteen grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great- grandchildren and a sister’ Alice Sulser. She was a loyal member of the Women of the Moose since 1991. There will be a family visitation on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 5:30PM – 7:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Farmville Moose Lodge 968, 1405 Longwood Ave, Farmville, VA 23901 in support of Mooseheart Child City and School Renovation, Mooseheart, IL.
