Obituary for Earl E. Seamster

Earl E. Seamster, 76, of Farmville, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at home. Mr. Seamster was born in Charlotte County August 17, 1939, a son of the late Frank Edward Seamster and Gracie Mae Jackson. He was a retired police officer.

Surviving are his wife, Florence (Cookie) Phaup Seamster; two daughters, Lee S. Womack of Waynesboro and Wendy S. Spivey of Dillwyn; four grandchildren, William Earl Womack, Jennifer Lee Womack, Emily Nicole Spivey and Christopher Ryan Spivey; a sister, Alice S. Coleman and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at Farmville Presbyterian Church with interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prince Edward Rescue Squad, Farmville Presbyterian Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
