Helen Cobb Stimpson

Helen Cobb Stimpson, age 61 of Farmville passed away at her home Sunday April 3, 2011. She was born in Washington D.C. to the late Audrey Scruggs Cobb and Melvin Cobb. She was the former co-owner of Carters Flower Shop and had a great interest in reading, and a talent in gardening, decorating and cooking. Her favorite pastime was sharing her love with her family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sons, Sean Thomas Stimpson and his wife Angela from Red Oak, VA and Chris Edward Stimpson and his wife Aneicia from Cumberland, VA. four grandchildren; Dylan Thomas Stimpson, Justin Edward Stimpson, Ryan David Stimpson and Hunter Jackson Stimpson. Brother, George Melvin Cobb Jr. of Charlotte Court House and sister, Deborah Hammer and husband Charles of Charlotte Court House.
The family will receive friends Tuesday April 5, 2011 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held Wednesday April 6, 2011 at 2:00PM at Spring Creek Baptist Church, Darlington Heights with interment in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to your local rescue squad. Puckett Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
