Herman Glenn Wilkins

Mr. Herman Glenn Wilkins, 51 of Farmville passed away Thursday evening at his
residence. He was born September 5, 1957 in Newport News, Virginia. He was the son of Irene Dean Wilkins Zitta and the late Herman Lewis Wilkins. He was the husband of Linda Marie Wilkins. He worked as a construction superintendent. Mr. Wilkins loved fishing and telling fishing tales. He was an avid cook and loved to laugh and make other people laugh. He was a loving husband and lived his life to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife, his son, James Wilkins of Farmville; his brothers, Joseph Rufus Wilkins of Farmville and Scott Wilkins and his wife, Alison of Powhatan; his sisters, Janet Alvarez and husband, Esteban of Boca Rotan, Florida, Anna Wilson and husband, Leslie of Gloucester, Virginia and Lorrie Barron and husband, David of Charlotte Court House, Virginia.
A memorial service was held Sunday, April 26, 2009 3:00PM at Eureka Baptist Church in Charlotte County with interment in the church cemetery
