Ida Beach Cobb South

Mrs. Ida Beach Cobb South, 93, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 in Florida. She was born July 27, 1918 to the late John Beach and Virginia Etta Berkley Cobb. She was the wife of the late Paul South. Ida enjoyed sewing, cooking, and serving at Clearview Baptist Church where she and Paul were long time active members. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Melvin Cobb, and one sister, Bea Hartig. She is survived by her son, William South and his wife, Cinda, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, brothers, Berlie and Berkley Cobb, and sister, Phyllis Atkins. A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 11:00am at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
