Jane Anderson Clark

Jane Anderson Clark completed her journey in this life, touching the face of God on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and cherished friend.
She was born February, 26, 1926 to the late Francis Sidney Anderson and Edith Pollard Anderson and graduated from Longwood University, PSCE(Union Seminary) and James Madison University. Jane leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband William Nicholson Clark, Jr., children William Sidney Clark (Peggy), Julia Clark Hays (Dan), David Allan Clark (Laura) and six beloved grandchildren William Hays, Hannah Hays Sipola (Matt), Catie Clark, Will Clark, David Clark and Thomas Clark.
When her husband, Bill was called into the ministry she faithfully served the role of pastor’s wife for over 40 years, touching many lives through her music, hospitality, and wise counsel. Over the years she pursued her career in Rocky Mount, NC, Staunton, VA, Waynesboro, VA, Buena Vista, VA and Woodbridge, VA as a Director of Christian Education, math teacher, special education teacher, piano teacher and realtor.
She will especially be remembered for her zest of life, sense of humor, generosity, love of family, cooking, reading love of flowers and nature.
A worship service to celebrate Jane’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville. Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 4:00PM - 6:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later time in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church cemetery in Farmville. Memorial contributions may be made to Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1835 Cumberland Road, Farmville, VA 23901 or to a charity of your choice.
Although our hearts are saddened by her absence, we rejoice in knowing she is with her Lord and Savior and we are comforted in the assurance of our heavenly reunion.
