Janice Marlene Pearson Sullivan

Janice Marlene Pearson Sullivan, 69 of Cumberland passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in Farmville. Born in Toledo, Ohio, January 2, 1943 Mrs. Sullivan was the daughter of the late James Albert and Alice Louise Austin Pearson. She was retired from Cumberland County Schools where she served in the High School cafeteria. Janice loved to draw, paint and sketch. Some of her artwork is displayed in the office of Centra Hospice, Farmville. She was a kind and loving person who always saw the good in everyone she met. Survivors include her husband, Harry C. Sullivan of Cumberland, sisters, Florence Keller of Cumberland and Joann Martin of Richmond, nieces, Charlotte Morris and Sherry Keller, great-niece, Stephanie Morris, great nephews, Daniel Morris, Lewis Ray “Buddy” Martin and Jimmy Martin and several other nieces and nephews in Tennessee, Ohio and California. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 15, 2012 in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville. Interment will follow in Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Cumberland. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 PM, Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Funeral Home.
