Janie Kesler Glass

Janie Kesler Glass, 91 of Farmville passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 in Farmville. She was born June 23, 1921 in Halifax, VA. She was the daughter of the late George Henry and Alice Newton Kesler. Janie grew up in Buckingham County. She was the widow of William Bruce Glass. She was a long time member of the Ruth Adams Garden Club. She is survived by her sons; Mark Barnes, Greg Glass and Rick Glass, her four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, her sisters, Lola Owen, Minnie Druen and Mabel Davis and her son, Donald Kayton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 2:00pm at Farmville United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Westview Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 4, 2012 6:00-8:00pm at the Puckett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
