I left this life, I was at peace. My life was full, one filled with love, laughter, friends, and my cherished family. My wife, Kathy, of 32 amazing years, we married on September 20, 1986. My children Joseph III (Misti), Jeffrey, Tracy (Freeman) and Jamie (Cindy). My grandchildren, Joshua, Stephen, Makenzie, Brandi, Brooke, Barrett, Jay and Ryan, 6 great grandchildren, My two surviving brothers Nick (Dee) and Jack (Dona). I now join the ones who have gone before, My father Joseph, My mother Teresa and My baby brother Richard.
I proudly served my country in the Army of the Korean War. I worked as a Regional General Manager in food services for more than 30 years. I enjoyed reading, golfing and watching sports. I also had an amazing family at The Italian American Club of Venice. I enjoyed the bocce games with you all. On any given Friday night, I could be found in the kitchen cooking, sampling pasta, meatballs, sausage and much more.
There is an Italian proverb “atavolia non s’invecchia mai” meaning one never ages at the dinner table. Let’s just say, I spent a lot of time not aging! Please don’t send me flowers. In lieu of, a donation can be made to Venice Church of the Nazarene Memorial Fund. I love you each and every one. Until we meet again,
Joe
