Obituary for Kimberley Wooten Harwood
Kimberley Wooten Harwood, of Farmville Virginia, passed away on Friday January 25 at the age of 49. Kimberley was born on March 2, 1969 in Farmville Virginia. She graduated from Prince Edward County High School in 1987 and worked in insurance for over 20 years. She was the recipient of many awards and much public recognition. Among them from the Professional Insurance agents of Virginia and DC were the Young Professional Agent of the Year 2003 and 2004, Agent of the Year 2016, National Agent of the Year 2016 and served as President of the Association 2014-2015. She was also a proud graduate of Farmville Citizens Police Academy in 2018. She served many officer positions in the Farmville Jaycees and was a charter member of the Farmville Area Kiwanis. She was an active member of the Farmville United Methodist Church and her beloved Sunday School group, Coffee Chat. She served on mission trips to Honduras and Israel. Kimberley had a passion for photography, sunsets, shelling and she combined them all to create extraordinary pictures and wonderful stories. She was a proud cancer survivor of 27 years. She was known for her boundless generosity to others, her love of animals and had a deeply sincere gratitude for our nation’s veterans.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Scott Harwood Jr; Parents Ray and Judy Wooten; sisters Dawn Michelle Schrader & Beverly Redman; nieces Devon Schrader Hunter, Louise Redman and nephews Jessie Schrader, David Redman and Timothy Morris Jr.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Red & Ruth Wooten and Paul & Jessie Senger.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Southside SPCA, the Farmville/Centra Southside
Hematology Oncology Clinic and K9s for Warriors. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 11:00am at Farmville United Methodist Church.
