Leonard S Wilson

Brother Leonard S. Wilson was born January 6, 1930 in Lawrenceville, VA. to the late Mr. & Mrs. Virginia Guthrie Wilson. He served his country by joining the Navy and said he had been to more countries than in the States. He had a great passion for training bird dogs for field trails.

One of the most important decisions in Leonard’s life was his dedication to Jehovah God in July of 2000. (16 Years of faithful service); Nothing was more important to him and his wife Dorothy. He loved to preach and witness for the Lord Jesus Christ and Jehovah God quoting his favorite scripture: Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come”.

He was happily married to his wife Dorothy Arpaia Wilson for 34 years and blended their families into one. He is survived by his wife Dorothy and his children: Steve Wilson (Anne) of Midlothian, VA; Kevin Wilson (Kris) of Chesterfield, VA; Virginia “Gin” Sanders (Rick) of Florida; Terri Lynn Meeks (Don) of California; Louis Garza (Denise) of Amelia, VA ; Tony Garza (Rebecca) of Amelia, John Garza (Jane) of Amelia, VA; Estella Garza Cross (Jimmy) of Midlothian, VA; Angela Garza Walsh (Eddie) of Massachusetts; a brother J.M. Wilson; a sister-n-law Lunette Wilson, 28 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Wilson, sisters: Frances Clary & Idella Thomas (Red) and a brother Murdock Wilson.
