She was born on November 2, 1950 to the late Gordon and Betty Stringham Smith in New York.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Drake, a son James Ingraham, a daughter Charity D. Ingraham and a brother Denny Smith. She is survived by her son Matthew Ingraham of Meherrin, and 3 grandchildren; Justin Pippen, Hannah Lynn Ingraham and Jerime Vincent Ingraham.
