Mrs. Margaret Steele Bailey, 75 of Farmville passed away Tuesday evening in Farmville. She was born March 23, 1933 in Coylton, Scotland. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Carina Berritti Steele. She was the wife of Joseph M. Bailey.
She is survived by her husband, her children, Joseph C. Bailey and wife Jazmin of Farmville, Virginia, Karen B. Dennis and husband Michael of Concord, New Hampshire, Eileen B. Broughman and husband Steve of Chester, Virginia, Dale M. Bailey and wife Cyndy of Charleston, South Carolina and Beverley A. Bailey of Northfield, New Hampshire; her brothers, Claudio Steele and Robert Steele both of Scotland, her sisters, Betty McMillan, Rena Spagnola, Jeanette Bertoncini and Ellen Graham all of Scotland, seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mable Houlett and her brothers, Charles and John Steele.
A funeral service will be held Friday, February 6, 2009 1:00PM at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia. Family will receive friends Friday 12:00(Noon) 1:00PM just before the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Woodland Inc. in Farmville.
Cemetery:
Interment will follow the service at Virginia Veteran's Cemetery in Amelia.
Visitation:
Family will recieve friends Friday, February 6, 2009 12:00(Noon)-1:00PM just before the service.
Service:
A funeral service will be held Friday, February 6, 2009 1:00PM at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home.
