Mark Dayton Dillon, 62 of Cullen, VA passed away on May 13, 2020. He was born on July 17. 1957. Mark was married to his “Baby Doll” Debby T. Dillon for 23 years and sharing their lives for 35 years. He was a devoted and extremely protective husband and father. He and Debby lived a life so intertwined that they were rarely ever apart. Mark was a very proud and involved PaPa, who enjoyed his grandchildren and their accomplishments. He especially enjoyed watching them play sports and often bragged on them. Mark was the most hard working man with tremendous knowledge of all things. He loved his work operating heavy equipment and he especially enjoyed the years he spent teaching and working alongside Danny Snead. Mark was considered the best at what he did and ended his lifelong career working at J.R. Tharpe Trucking where he considered Tim more a friend then boss. Mark loved raising and showing horses alongside his wife, the horses knew who was boss. He truly enjoyed his truck rides and fishing trips with his grandson Jaylen while they laughed and talked about life. He and Deb loved traveling, the destination did not matter as long as she was by his side. “Rockin D” was larger than life and will be missed by all whose life he touched.
He is survived by his mother Edna R. Dickerson (William) his wife Debra, his son Tony, three daughters Crystal, Lee and Koren, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, one brother Gary Dickerson 2 nephews Chris and Drew.
