Mary Ann Mcabee Brown

Mary Ann McAbee Brown, 78 of Farmville passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 in Christiansburg. She was the wife of the late Aubrey Lee Brown. Born in North Carolina, May 13, 1933, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Mary Elizabeth Dunn McAbee. She was retired from Amelia Dress Company after 50 years of service. Surviving are her son, Aubrey McKinley Brown (Polly) of Victoria, daughter Sharon Leigh Brown of Christiansburg, Brother Don McAbee (Sharon) of Mechanicsville, sisters, Peggy Wood (Norris) of Blairsville, GA and Virgie Martin (Lewis) of Cumberland, five grandchildren, Marsha Smith, Todd Brown, Angie Brown, Tracie Chewning and Shannon Towley and four great-grandchildren, Gage Brown, Jacob Brown, Carson Smith and Mark Chewning.

Visitation:
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday in the chapel of the Puckett Funeral Home of Farmville. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.
