Mary Eloise Nash Bryant

Mrs. Eloise Nash Bryant, age 86 departed this life on Tuesday September 13, 2011 at the Woodland in Farmville, Virginia. She was born September 12, 1925 in Charlotte Court House, Virginia to Lewis Daniel Nash and Sarah Hamlet Nash. Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 63 years, James Robert Bryant. She is survived by her children, Gayle B. Harris of Abilene, Virginia, James Ivan Bryant and wife, Kathy of Cullen, Virginia, Barbara B. Hamlett and husband, Donnie of Madisonville, Virginia, Richard Daniel Allen and wife, Rose of Cullen, Virginia and Cynthia Allen Bomar and husband, Kevin of Nathalie, Virginia. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bryant was a graduate of Randolph-Henry High School and a long-time member of Spring Creek Baptist Church where she was very active. She was also a long standing member of the Pamplin Order of the Eastern Star. Family will receive friends at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Darlington Heights, Virginia on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Spring Creek Baptist Church.
