Mary Mabel Adeline Cole Wilkerson

Mrs. Mary Mabel Adeline Cole Wilkerson, 80 of Farmville passed away Monday in Farmville. She was born January 6, 1929 in Charlotte County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late John Edgar and Lillie Viry Cole. She was retired from ARAMARK Food Services at Hampden-Sydney College. She was a member of College Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert Trent Wilkerson, sister, Margie Cole Johnson and her brothers, Johnny, James and Woodson Cole.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, a special niece, Teresa H. Adams and husband, Jimmy and a sister-in-law, Doris W. Hatcher and her husband, Houston.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2009 11:00AM at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Prince Edward Co. Rescue Squad or to College Presbyterian Church.
