Nelson Gray Layne

Nelson Grey Layne, 75 of Hickory Hill Retirement Home went to be the Lord on Friday, July 3rd 2020. Nelson is the youngest son of the late Spencer H. and Marian A. Layne. He is survived by his son Timothy Dale Layne (Karen), Grandaughter Abigail Layne, step son Robert Long (Ashley), three brothers; Billy (Victoria), Ted (Georgia) and Norman (Ida), two sisters; Roberta Willis (Charlie) and Gloria Adams (Kendall), three sister-in-laws; Annette Layne, Aggie Layne, and Linda Layne and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death are eight brothers; Spencer, Alvin, Elbert, Oliver, Carol, Ed, Floyd, and Monroe and three sisters; Virginia Frangowlakis, Florence Pierce, and Ruth Ferguson.
