Norman Lee Rickmond, Sr.

Mr. Norman Lee Rickmond Sr., 73 of Cumberland passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016. He was born April 5, 1943 to the late Phillip Luther and Josephine Sadler Rickmond. Mr. Rickmond worked as a painter for many years. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening and building different things around the property. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Norman Rickmond Jr., his sister, Joyce Epps and his grandson, Derrick.

He is survived by his children, Norma, Debra and Brian, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, his brother, 2 sisters, his special companion for over 40 years, Diane and a dear friend, Doug.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 2:00pm at Westview Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Monday evening 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
