Patricia Lou Smiley

Patricia L. Smiley, 90, of Farmville passed away peacefully October 5 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd F. Smiley.

She was born in Toledo, Ohio in 1929, the fifth of six children of Charles Rowan and Jenny Baer Rowan. She lived in many states during her career as an executive assistant in the food industry and moved to Farmville in 2008.

She is survived by her daughters Wendy (Guillermo) Gray of Farmville and Satsatnam (Beant) Khalsa of Herndon, VA, four grandsons, two great-granddaughters, as well as many nephews, a niece and their children and grandchildren.

Her laughter and the laughter she gave to others will be much missed.

No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish to do so make a donation to a charity of their choice.
