Mrs. Rosalie Metcalf Lamberth, 92, of Darlington Heights, VA, widow of Albert Earl Lamberth, Sr., passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Lamberth was born May 23, 1921, the daughter of the late E. Frank and Bergie Elmira Metcalf, of Cullen. She was a woman of great strength, courage, and integrity with a faith that sustained her through many trials and lifted her during times of joy. Her greatest joy was the family she loved and served faithfully all her days. Her family celebrates her life, her love, her prayers, and guidance. These three things will sustain us for our remaining days. She is survived by three children, a son, Albert Earl Lamberth, Jr, (Bonnie), of Darlington Heights, VA; two daughters, Rose Marie Lamberth Howard (Bobby), and Judy Carol Lamberth Hall (Tom), both of Charlotte Court House, VA; seven grandchildren, Dawn Lamberth Elliott (LT), Dana Lamberth Giles (David), Wendy Rose Lamberth Phillips (Billy), Bonnie Brooke Lamberth Crouse (Eric), Albert Earl Lamberth, III (Trey and Stacy), Gregory Allen Howard, and Toni Marie Howard Puckett (Dayton); 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Marie Metcalf Carson of Cullen, Mrs. Pauline Metcalf Dunnavant of Farmville, one brother, George Metcalf of Prospect; two sisters-in-law; Mrs. Mary Tucker of Phenix, Mrs. Eleanor Nash of Pamplin, one brother-in-law, CT Lamberth of Prospect, host of nieces, nephews, and extended family whom she loved. The family will receive friends at her home from 11am – 3pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, December 18th from 5pm – 7pm at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville, VA. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 AM Thursday, December 19th at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Darlington Heights, VA. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, Charlotte Court House, VA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Spring Creek Baptist Church.

Cemetery:
Interment will follow at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
