Ruby H. Burley

Mrs. Ruby Hatcher Burley, 78 of Farmville passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 in Farmville. She was born November 22, 1930 in Buckingham County. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth Hatcher. She was the wife of the late Walker Robert Burley. Mrs. Burley worked at Baldwins Department Store for many years. Her love for life, family, church and friends was her greatest joy.
She is survived by her sons: Bobby Burley and wife, Hazel of Burkeville and Mike Burley and wife, Terri of Farmville; her daughter, Peggy Barton and husband, Clay of Green Bay, step daughter, Mary Ann Cronk of Farmville, her sister, Mary Billbrough of Farmville, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday, September 7, 2009 11:00AM at Worsham Baptist Church with interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice. Family will receive friends Sunday evening 6:30-8:30PM at the Puckett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Worsham Family Life Center.
