Obituary for Virginia Lee Davis
Virginia Lee Goin Davis went home to be with the Lord on October 9th, 2021 after a long battle with lung cancer.
Virginia was born to Leslie and Annie Ruth Goin on November 13th, 1950 in Henderson, North Carolina. As a young girl, Virginia loved spending time with her family and loved ones. She was also known to be seen helping her father with chores around the farm as well as helping him with his wood cutting business. Virginia loved spending time with her family and was quite often known as the life of the party. Virginia was also known as a hard worker as well as a wonderful mother as well as she loved to play softball. She was a woman who would sacrifice anything for her children and grandchildren. She was loved by so many and was never known to meet a stranger.
Virginia is survived by her daughters Lisa Luciano (51) and Barbara Moreno (45) as well as a son Troy Lee Taylor (35). She is also survived by 2 sisters- Shirley and Mary, as well as a brother Thomas. Virginia also had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved very much. Virginia is preceded in death by her father and mother as well as 4 brothers Bobby, James, William and Leslie Jr and 2 sisters Dorthey and Gladys May.
Visitation will be held at Puckett Funeral Home of Farmville on Wednesday October 13th between 6 and 8 pm. She will be laid to rest in the Dillwyn Cemetery on Thursday October 14th at 2pm.
