Wilma Sue Amos, 81, of Pamplin, VA passed away on January 6, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Raymond O. Hammock and Edward W. Fender. She was born May 30, 1938 in Jefference County, Tennessee. She is the daughter of the late Hal and Myrtle Smelcer. She is survived by two daughters; Barbara McLoughlin and husband, Mike of Columbus, Ohio and Lisa Newcomb and husband Jeff of Pamplin, VA, four grandchildren; Jacob Bowman, Joseph Bowman and Jessica Jurcyk all of Columbus, Ohio and Travis Newcomb of Pamplin, VA and one nephew, Steve Smelcer of Prospect, VA. She is preceded in death by her brother Paul Smelcer. She was a member of Mt. Harmony Church.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home. A private service will take place at a later date.
