Angela Carol Moore

Angela Carol Barden/Moore, age 53, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at

home in Burkeville, VA. She was born on July 17, 1972, at Farmville Hospital. She had

been battling cancer for the past three years. Angela was such a strong and fierce

woman who faced every challenge with grace and courage.

She will be deeply missed by her partner, Antonio Perez, her daughter, Angelica Pena,

her son, Andrew Moore, her daughter-in-law, Sarra Watts, and her granddaughter,

Sydney Moore. She will also be missed by her three beloved dogs and ten cats, who

brought her great comfort and joy in her last days.

Angela worked as a loan officer for many years, as well as a jeweler, and also worked

at Roses. She took great pride in her work and in helping others whenever she could.

Angela truly loved life. She enjoyed going out to eat and sharing her adventures on

Facebook, where she brought laughter and joy to everyone who followed her. She loved

spending time with her family and friends, she always made those around her feel loved

and valued. Angela was also a devoted fan of her favorite football team, the Washington

Redskins, never missing a game when she could help it.

Angela’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her laughter, kindness,

and strength will never be forgotten. Though she has left this world, we find peace

knowing that she is now in a better place, free from pain and surrounded by love.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Angela touched are invited to attend the funeral

service, which will be held on October 15 at 1 p.m. at the Daniel Moore Family

Cemetery at 113 Welch Rd, Burkeville, VA 23922. The family will be on site at 11 AM to

accept visitors prior to the service. Please try to bring a photo of Angela, as the photos

will be placed in a memorial album to celebrate her life and the many memories she

created with those she loved.
