Daniel Wyatt Mcfadden

Daniel Wyatt McFadden, 78 of Blackstone, formally of Prospect, VA passed away on September 30, 2019. He is the son of the late Charlie D. and Rachel O’Brien McFadden. He joined the US Navy at age 17 and served his country. He was married to the late Dale Loraine Shelton McFadden and together they raised 2 sons. He worked for many years as a Tree Service operator for many Virginia Utility Services. He is survived by his 2 sons; Steven D. McFadden and wife Tracey of Camden, NC., Michael A. McFadden and wife Rhonda of Scottsburg, VA., 6 grandchildren; Autumn, Christy, Jarrett, Jacob, Jayce, Carlana, a sister Ellen M. Jones and husband Lynn, a nephew Jerry D. Jones and a dear friend Gladys Loftis.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Larry W. McFadden and Robert B. McFadden.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 6:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Family will receive friends 2 hours prior to service starting at 4:00PM. Burial will be at a later date.
