David George Lucas of Farmville, VA passed away of February 2, 2026. David was born on October 13, 1958 in Mt Holly, NJ to the late Allen Lucas and Mary Chafey Lucas. He grew up in Medford, NJ and was married to his loving wife Sharon McCauley-Lucas for 44 years.

He loved playing his guitars and riding his horses.

David is survived by his wife, Sharon, his mother Mary Lucas, nephews; Eric and Jessie Lucas.

He was preceded in death by his brother Douglas.
