Deborah Mason Canady

Deborah (Debbie) Canady, 76, of Farmville, Virginia, passed away peacefully on July 14 th , 2026.

Born on July 1 st , 1950, in Farmville, Virginia, Debbie was a devoted mother,

grandmother, sibling, and friend who enjoyed the pleasures of life with her family. She will be

remembered for her feisty personality, humor, the crafts she created over the years, and for the

love she shared with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Mason, and father, Forest Mason.

She is survived by her children, Cindy Workman and Michele (Doug) Colding; her

cherished grandchildren, Brandi Colding, Jeremy Nelson, and Hallye (Timmy) Tolley; her

beloved great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Aubrey, Kali, Piper, Leigha, Gabriel, Isabelle, Swanson,

and Dawson; her sister, Cathy (Robert) Merritt; and numerous friends and family members

whose lives she touched.

A memorial service will be held on August 8, 2026, at 11:00AM in Puckett Funeral Home located in

Farmville, Virginia.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
