Diane Marie Ford

Diane M Ford of Rice, Virginia, age 83, left this earthly world on December 30, 2025. She is

survived by her husband of 65 years, John Ford, daughter Susan Ross (Bruce) of Bellaire,

Michigan and John T Ford (Linda) of New Gloucester, Maine, grandson Ryan Ferguson (Colleen)

of Holden, Massachusetts, and two great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and John.

Diane was born in Lynn, Massachusetts and was predeceased by her parents George and

Evangeline Farrell, and sisters Charlotte and Carolyn.

Diane enjoyed creating beautiful stain-glass artwork, and anything that involved her friends

while playing cards, eating out, teasing and laughing. She also took great pleasure volunteering

at St Theresa Catholic Church in Farmville, while greeting, ushering, and working at various

functions at the church. The family wishes to extend heart-felt appreciation to all those who

loved her, including her care-giver, Barbara and the staff at Centra Hospice.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 14 th at 2:00 pm at St Theresa Catholic

Church in Farmville. A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following the

service at Charley’s Waterfront Café where refreshments will be served. Contributions in her

name may be given to St Theresa’s Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
