Donald Edward Phaup

Donald E. Phaup, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2026 at his home

in Buckingham County, Virginia.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, George R. and Ethel M. Phaup;

daughter, Dena Phaup Lacks; grandson, Joshua Lacks; and granddaughter, Breanna

Marie Phaup.

Donald was a kind and gentle man, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather,

brother and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Frances Griffith Phaup; son, Donald

Lynn Phaup; two brothers, Raymond L. Phaup (Mary Ann) and Robert W. Phaup

(Lisa); great-granddaughter Amina Lacks; many other nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
