George Avery Russell

George Avery Russell born in Louisiana and raised his family in Maryland passed away peacefully on November 29th in Amelia, VA where he lived for the past 6 years leaving behind his Wife of 70 years Sybil, his two Sons Ron (Linda) and Jeff (Kim), 4 grandchildren Brad (Lisa), Stacey (Rick), Heather (Donald) and Kelley (CJ) and 7 great grandchildren Bradley, Natalie, Averie, Jackson, Wyatt, Walker & Memphis and two siblings Pam and Pat. George was a loving Husband, father and granddad. He loved the outdoors (hunting & crabbing) and shot pool and was in a bowling league. He was an Air Force Veteran and belonged to the American Legion Post 206 in Chesapeake Beach, MD.
