Iva Pearl Cox Marlik

Iva Cox Marlik (Iva Pearl Cox), age 79, of Rice, Virginia passed away on January 10, 2026. She was born on June 4, 1964, in Summers, West Virginia, and was known to many as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family meant everything to her.

Iva was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Marlik; her parents, Thomas Cox and Goldie Cox; her brother, Donald Cox; and her sister, Dreama Bell.

She is survived by her brothers, Ronald Cox and Ricky Cox, and her sister, Linda Cox. Iva leaves behind her cherished daughters, Teresa Inge (Vince) and Tammy Ang (Riche), who were the pride of her life. She was a devoted grandmother to Chad, Melanie, Christina, and Cheyann, and a deeply loved great-grandmother to Hayden, Tegan, Connor, Kaylee, Mila, and Brayden.

Iva’s legacy lives on through her family, who will forever remember her strength, warmth, and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville, VA on January 13, 2026 at 1pm, followed by a graveside service at Westview Cemetery  2:15pm.
