Jeanne Doerer Davis

Jeanne Doerer Davis, 71 of Farmville passed away peacefully on August 28, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents; Thomas A. Doerer and Marguerite Omohundro Doerer of Warsaw, a sister; Barbara Garland of Warsaw and a brother; William Doerer of New Orleans, LA. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles M. Davis, a daughter, Deborah Hoffmaster of La Plata, MD; a son Wade Davis of Marianna, FL; A grandson, Brennan and granddaughter Dianne. Jeanne was a horse lover and an active member of the Appaloosa Horse Club. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Farmville, VA. Family will receive friends at Welch Funeral Home in Warsaw, VA at 12:30PM on Saturday, August 31, 2013. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM at St. Pauls Catholic Church Cemetery, Hague, VA.
