Jessica Lynn Chappell

Jessica Lynne Chappell, 36, of Burkeville, VA, passed away on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, at

home, surrounded by family. She was born on August 20th, 1988 in Farmville, VA to Della

Looney and the late Ricky Looney. Jessica had a passion for helping others, for caring for her

children and family, and for her many feline friends. She attended Nottoway High School and

worked for the Nottoway Health Department and Social Services for several years.

Jessica is survived by her loving husband Brandon Chappell of 18 years, her three children,

Cheyanne, Elena, and Lucas, her brothers, Marcus (Ben) and Billy (Chaily), and their three

children, Laci, Bristal, and Berkli. She is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Cora and

Wanda, and grandfathers, James and Walter.

The visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, July 30th at Puckett Funeral

Home in Farmville, Virginia from 1-3 P.M., with funeral services following.
