JoAnn Tolbert Cooley

JoAnn Tolbert Cooley born February 9, 1936 to the late Emery and Ocie Tolbert passed away on January 20, 2024. JoAnn loved working in the yard, was a very talented seamstress and loved staying busy. She attended the Church of God in Farmville, VA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Francis M. Cooley, 3 sons; James Steven Cooley, Frank Allen Cooley, David Keith Cooley and brother’s William Tolbert, Caleb Preston McClure (Great Grandson), Wilson Tolbert, sister Barbara Boyd.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Ann Ford Husband (Richard), 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, sisters: Sandra Christensen, Nancy T. Daniel (Dennis).

Family will receive friends from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, with a funeral service starting at 1:00PM on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church, Church of God 1816 E. Third Street 23901 Farmville Virginia Farmville, VA 23901
