Leonard R. Vogel

Leonard R. Vogel, 77 of Farmville, VA passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. He was born in Ashland, MA on October 22, 1935 to the late Anna Sheehey Vogel and Joseph Vogel. He retired from Raytheon in 1989. After retirement he enjoyed his garden, tending to his chickens and birds, hunting, deep sea fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Margo Vogel, his children; Leonard Vogel (Maggie) of Utah, Joseph Vogel (Becky) of Texas, Andrea V. Sutter (Leroy) of Florida, Karla V. Haynes (Steve) of Virginia and Kathleen V. McLaughlin (Patrick) of Florida; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 2:00PM – 5:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home 115 Covington Court, Farmville, VA 23901. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
