Margaret Southall Burroughs, 80, of Charlotte County, went to her heavenly home on January 24, 2020. Margaret was born July 9th, 1939 in Prince Edward County to Ruth and Carter Southall. Over the years John and Margaret moved around the world living in Georgia, Hawaii, Taiwan, Germany, Michigan and Kentucky before settling in Virginia. Over the years, Margaret worked in hospitals and extended care and served on ten medical missions to Honduras. No matter where the family was, she was active in her local church.
She was widowed in 1998, and married Bill Burroughs in 2004. They enjoyed music festivals and camping until his death in 2005.
