Mary Ann Morris

Mary Ann Davidson Morris, 86, of Burkeville, VA, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2017 surrounded by family. Mary Ann was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Thomas Davidson and her mother, Hallie Myrtle Glover Davidson.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Willie Morris, Jr. and sons, William “Buck” Morris (Donna), James “Jimmy” Morris (Barbara) and Robert “Chicken” Morris (Connie) and four grandchildren, Richard “Skeeter” Morris, Josh (Farah-Dale) Morris, Kristen Morris and Sara Morris.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 8th from 5pm-8pm at Puckett Funeral Home, 115 Covington Ct. Farmville, VA 23901, where funeral services will be held on Friday, June 9th at 11am. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Burkeville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Burkeville Fire Department. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
