Mary Elizabeth Harrington

Mary "Liz" Maynard Harrington passed away On June 29, 2026, at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gene Fowler, Mother Mary Hart Camozzi and Father Gordon W. Maynard Sr.

Also, a sister Lora Maynard Mineau, a Niece Robin Deana Barron.

She is Survived by Her daughter Lahoma Laser Roderick, Ronald Roderick II, a son Ronald Richard Roderick III,

and two Grandsons Ronald Richard Roderick IV, and Bennett Michael Roderick, great grand daughter Ava Marie Roderick. A brother Gordon William Maynard Jr,

Two sisters Melinda Maynard Auton, Harley and Katherine Maynard Barron, Forrest "Buddy" Barron

Five Nephews Robert Hughes Jr. Scott Borhan, Micheal Capps Patrick Capps Steven Barron,

Great grandnephews Beau Barron

Nieces Lori Ann Hughes-Richardson Kayla Sylvaria- Jones

Great Grandniece's Mina Veswani, Kayley Nye, Cheyenne Anothony-Capps

Liz spent many years working as a welder for Electric Boat in Groton Connecticut, she also worked for the Groton

Board of Education, the Franklin Academy in Haddam Connecticut. She enjoyed building and maintaining Race cars,

going to the races with her friends and family.

Liz moved to Virginia in 2013 to help care for her mother. after her mom passed, she stayed. She worked at Granny B's

in Hampden Sydney for 10 years before retiring.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 11,2026, from 2 pm - 4 pm at Lizs home at 227 Slayton Forest Drive
