Mrs. Jeanne S. Mayhew, 76 of Green Bay passed away Sunday morning in Farmville. She was born February 9, 1934 in Lunenburg County. She was the daughter of the late Edward Otto and Mary Betts Schultz. Jeanne had a passion for taking pictures and bird watching.
She is survived by her sons, Edward Mayhew and wife, D.J. and Chopper Mayhew and wife, Tanya all of Green Bay, her granddaughter, Ashley Mayhew and step grandchildren, Crystal, Joe, Sara, Joshua and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Mayhew.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2010 11:00AM at St. Pauls Lutheran Church Cemetery in Meherrin. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening 6:00-8:00PM at the Puckett Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Meherrin SPCA, 7352 Patrick Henry Hwy, Meherrin, VA 23954 or to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 Eighteenth Street, NW | Washington, DC 20006-3517.
