Peggy K. Ammons

Mrs. Peggy K. Ammons, 80 of Farmville passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at her residence. She was born July 16, 1931 in North Carolina to the late Claude W. and Minnie Howard Kale. She was the wife of Stanley W. Ammons. Peggy worked alongside her husband at Farmville Vision Center for years. She was a very active member of the Farmville Garden Clubs and was an avid gardener. She is survived by her husband, her children, Stanley W. Ammons, Jr. of Fairfax and Susan Perkins (Garland) of Farmville. She also has two grandchildren, Nathan and Ian Ammons. Family received friends on Sunday, July 15, 2012 7:00-8:00pm at the Puckett Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held later.
