Russell Daniel Davis

Russell Daniel Davis of Farmville, VA., gained his wings and joined his beloved mother, Andrea Davis, in heaven on August 31, 2026.

Born on July 31, 1987 in Palm Springs CA., Russ was the first son to John and Andrea Davis, and older brother to Maverick Davis. Russ spent his younger years in Joshua Tree, CA. and in the early 2000’s the Davis family moved to Virginia. Russ graduated High School in 2005 from Randolph Henry.

Russ enjoyed many things, but would most importantly be remembered for his strong work ethic which showed in the business he built from the ground up. Russ enjoyed grilling and smoking a well seasoned piece of meat on one of the many grills he built or “modified”. Building, tinkering and fixing anything came natural to Russ. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. From an early age, Russ could be found working on motorcycles, trucks, cars, or anything with an engine. His biggest accomplishment had to have been his work van. He went everywhere in that van. The softer side of Russ was seen with his love for his dogs, Cali and Sasha.

Russ was survived by his Father, John Davis Brother, Maverick Davis, and Grandfather, Raymond Gelsinger, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that he considered family. He was preceded in death by Andrea Davis, his mother, Rebecca Gelsinger, his grandmother and John Davis Sr., his grandfather.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 5pm at the Fishin’ Pig, 5169 Farmville Rd.

Russ will be forever missed and remembered by many who loved him. “Yeah Man!”
