Russell Dale Hartley

Russell Dale Hartley, 72 of Farmville, VA passed away on August 9, 2025. His friends and family called him by his nick name was “Cowboy”. He worked for Fuqua School for over 20 years.

He is survived by his wife Judy H. Hartley, his sisters Carolyn H. Martin, Brenda H. Thurston, brothers Calvin C. Hartley Jr. and Donnie R. Hartley, sister in laws Betty Jo Reamer, Mary Sue Fitzgerald, his fur baby Gypsy and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Calvin Coleman Hartley and Eva Marie Wright Hartley, a sister Catherine Ann Hartley Wilmouth, a brother Jimmy Lee Hartley and a son Calvin Dale Hartley.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
