Thomas Allen Blankenship

Thomas Allen Blankenship, aged 64, a faithful servant of the Lord, is now at peace after going home to be with Jesus on December 5th, 2025. He was born January 12, 1961, in Petersburg, Virginia, to the late Robert Blankenship and the late Anne Vedomske.

Tom was a devoted husband and father, a servant in his church and local community, and incredibly hardworking. Tom’s relentless spirit, compassion, and drive will be carried on in those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Blankenship, and the families of their children Matthew Blankenship, Stephanie Smrcka, Joshua Kent, and Jordyn Leonard, and his granddaughter Ainsley Smrcka.

A celebration of life will be held in Tom’s memory at Farmville Church of Christ on Tuesday the 9th of December at 2 PM Eastern Time. A private burial will take place at Amelia Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
