Thomas Britten Marlik

Thomas Britten Marlik (AKA Tommy), 86, of Rice, Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025. Tommy was born on April 2, 1939, in Dover Delaware. Tommy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a dedicated master welder for Plumbers and Steamfitters, Union 10 for over 35 years. Tommy is survived by his wife Iva Cox Marlik of 54 years, his step-daughter Teresa Inge (Vincen), his daughter Tammy Ang (Riche), his grandson Chad Hendrickson, his Granddaughter Melanie Justice, granddaughter Christina Inge, granddaughter Cheyann Ang, and great grandchildren Tegan, Kaylee, Mila, Conner and Braylen. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 10:00-11:00am at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville, VA. A graveside service will follow at the Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made directly to Puckett Funeral Home under Thomas Marlik, to help cover remaining funeral expenses not covered by life insurance.
